Description

BackBay by Collision ProAssist combines a tailored approach to technician development and provides technicians access to subject matter experts from OEMs and tool, equipment, and product makers. In this session, we invite you to bring your toughest technical questions, shop challenges, recent wins, and bold ideas. Connect with peers, exchange ideas, and get technical support to tackle challenges you encounter. And the support doesn't end at the end of the session; for unanswered questions, we'll collect them and tap industry connections for follow-up answers.

Jason Bartanen is the Founder and Chief Technician Advocate at Collision ProAssist. Before founding Collision ProAssist in 2025, he spent 23 years at I-CAR in roles escalating from Technical Writer to Director of Industry Technical Relations where he oversaw all I-CAR technical product and service development. In his various roles, he fostered relationships with OEMs and tool, equipment, and product makers. He frequently speaks on vehicle technology and its impact on repairs at local, state, national, and international collision repair conferences. After I-CAR, Bartanen spent 6 years at Collision Hub working with industry experts, collision repair facilities, and technicians.
